I incorporate the surrounding, regal beauty of the Rocky Mountains, comparing the enduring magnificence of this mighty massif to that of the blessed union between the bride and the groom.
The touch of love within this day, an echo of your pledge.
Ascending to the vibrant heights, above the earthly edge.
And here so true will soar these two, this woman and this man.
In a quest to be what most can’t see, for few can understand.
That love alive, and love unleashed, outshines a fiery sun.
And that those who fly will surely cry, of the magic yet to come.
May you come to try, now side by side, to touch what seems so dim.
The living truth of inner youth—the walk throughout within.
Today, perhaps, a simple moment, this step where you align.
Hand in hand, side by side…a grain within life’s hourglass of time.
But from this moment on, when you end each day,
still closer you may be. To the light which guides you on your way…
to the farthest star you see.—GWF
I perform weddings and elopements at a location of your choosing—no matter where.
I’ve been officiating weddings in the Estes Valley fourteen years now, having conducted upward of 500 ceremonies, ranging in size from just the bride and groom, to parties surpassing 2000 guests.
I’ve also traveled/hiked/snowshoed to various locations within Rocky Mountain National Park, should such secluded venues interest you.
In my vows I incorporate the surrounding, regal beauty of the Rocky Mountains, comparing the enduring magnificence of this mighty massif to that of the blessed union between the bride and the groom. Minor changes to the vows are welcome, changes such as including the names of various children, welcoming them into your new family; incorporating sub-ceremonies (i.e., a rose ceremony); and/or implementing various readings others in attendance might yearn to recite...or maybe just taking a moment or two for special words the bride and the groom might care to exchange with each other…etc.
Essentially, this moment—your moment—is about you, the bride and the groom…not about me. Your satisfaction, indeed, is essential to me, and I take into account and consider your needs and requests, however minor or extensive.
God bless, and I look forward to hearing from you.
